Shania Desjarlais-Larocque, also known by her spirit name, "Woman Leader of the Flock," is a proud Métis, Dene, and Cree woman empowering Indigenous communities through culture and connection. She is pursuing a Leadership and Management degree at Blue Quills University, integrating traditional knowledge with academic learning. As a workshop leader, keynote speaker, and mentor, she shares her journey of resilience and growth to inspire others. Through her initiative, "Wandering Moccasins," she encourages Indigenous youth to explore their paths, reconnect with their roots, and embrace cultural healing. As a Miss Indigenous Canada 2025 contestant, she strives to amplify Indigenous voices and foster unity to guide future generations.
