2025 CONTESTANT HANDBOOK: READ BEFORE APPLYING

Applications close October 1st, 2024, 11:59 EST. No exceptions will be granted.

There are TWO parts to the application. Part One can be found here, and includes a general information form and questionnaire. Part Two includes an upload for supplementary documentation. Both parts MUST BE COMPLETED to be considered.

Supplementary documents include:

• Letter of recommendation

• Verification of Indigenous Identity (Status card OR membership card OR letter from you explaining your background and belonging and reference letter from community leader)

• Official identification indicating age, address, and name

Contestant Requirements

• Open to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit women** with a verifiable community affiliation

• Contestants must be at least 18 years old and no older than 30 by the competition weekend

• Must be a Canadian resident

• Must belong to an Indigenous community that is primarily in so-called Canada either by treaty or historically

• Must be of good character and have actions that reflect that of a community ambassador

• Applicants should display a preexisting involvement in their Indigenous community

**We welcome all women who meet the above requirements, regardless of assigned gender at birth, marital status, or motherhood.

If you do not meet the above requirements your application will be discarded.
