Nikita Sawrenko-Bailey is from the Wolf Clan of Liard First Nation and Daylu Dena Council, with deep Kaska Dena roots spanning Northern B.C., NWT, and the Yukon. As one of the youngest of 6 daughters, she is committed to reviving culture and language within her family. Nikita has worked as a Youth Support Worker and held leadership roles with First Nations governments and non-profits. A lifelong beader, sewer, and Auntie, she is dedicated to mental health, spiritual wellness, and breaking intergenerational cycles. Nikita is passionate about empowering her community and uplifting future generations through advocacy.
