Inuk from Arctic Bay, located on the most northern tip of Baffin Island Nunavut. Horizon speaks fluently in Inuktitut and English. She is enrolled in Nunavut Arctic College, taking the interpreter translator 2 year diploma program. Horizon was brought up as a narwhal, polar bear and seal hunter. Horizon not only prepares the animal hides and skins her father and brothers and her catches, she sews and makes winter clothing for the cold climate that includes seal skin boots and mittens. Her favourite hobby is Dene games, she has competed and won medals at the Arctic Winter Games. She goes on short distance dog team travels with her brothers husky dog teams. She prepares dog food and feeding the dog teams of 30 huskies.
