Ember Chapdelaine, or memengwaa kwe (butterfly woman), is a 30 year old Aanishinaabe woman from the Chippewas of the Kettle & Stony Point First Nation. Ember earned her Juris Doctor degree from Windsor Law in 2022 and also recieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University. Ember is a passionate and kind legal scholar, an environmentalist, and fierce water protector. As the Band Representative for the Aamjiwnaang First Nation she is also a loud advocate for children and families. Perhaps most importantly, she is a proud Auntie to Olivia, a dedicated fiance to Rosie, and a loving sister to Devin and Aiden.
